Summer Vacation

OPENING  HOURS

The library will be open as normal on Monday 18th June, and from 8.30am to 6.00pm on Tuesday 19th June.

From Wednesday 20th June, the Library will close for essential maintenance, re-opening on Monday 2nd July.  From 2nd July until Friday 14th September inclusive, we will be operating normal vacation opening hours, which are as follows:-

Monday to Friday     9.00am – 5.00pm

Weekends                     Closed

Vacation opening times for the LRC IT Rooms will be as follows:-

Monday to Friday     8.30am – 6.00pm

Weekends                     Closed

Due to staff taking leave/ attending staff training etc. over the vacation period, there may be some times during which the Library will remain open but an Information Officer will not be available.  If you specifically need to speak with an Information Officer, we would suggest that you email the general library address – library.gld@lawcol.co.uk – in advance, to check whether either myself or Laura will be on duty on a particular day.

BORROWING ARRANGEMENTS

Please note that only first-year students continuing into Year 2 of their courses, as well as students currently enrolled on courses who may need to resit, will be allowed to borrow over the summer vacation.  Students whose courses end in June 2012 will, however, be able to use the Library for reference purposes if they register with the College’s Alumni Association.
